Fort Chadbourne Days will be held May 1st, 2010.
School Day is April 30th, 2010 for schools and home school kids.
COME ON OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN!

NRA sponsored the Black
Powder Silhouette Shooting Event at Fort Chadbourne Days 2009.
We appreciate their support
in helping continue getting kids and the general public interested
in the historical aspect of weaponry and encourage safety and shooting sports.
During Fort Chadbourne
Days, anyone can participate in the learning to shoot a .45-70 buffalo rifle
at a life size metal buffalo target. The safety instructors help position
the shooter to allow them to
aim the rifle at the target down range and hopefully hear the "ping". When
you hear the "ping" you
know you shot the buffalo target! Everyone, young and old, enjoys the
buffalo shooting event at Fort
Chadbourne Days! Shooting sports is something you can enjoy at any age!
